Caring for someone living with dementia can feel lonely and overwhelming. You may be managing appointments, changing behaviors, safety concerns, personal care, and decisions about future support—all while trying to keep everyday life moving.
You do not have to navigate it alone.
Mobile Memory Enrichment’s Caregiver Collective is a free monthly dementia caregiver support group in Hillsboro, Oregon. Caregivers can attend in person or online to receive practical guidance, discover local resources, and connect with people who understand the realities of caregiving.

Featured Presenter: Dr. Almira Ko
Our August presenter is Almira Ko, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, from Sunset Foot Clinic.
Dr. Ko will discuss foot care, mobility, and practical ways caregivers can support the comfort and safety of older adults.
Caregivers will have time to learn, ask questions, and connect with helpful local resources.
Who Is Welcome?
The Caregiver Collective welcomes:
Family caregivers
Spouses and partners
Adult children
Friends supporting an older adult
In-home caregivers
Anyone preparing for changing care needs
Although many conversations focus on dementia care, the information may also help people caring for older adults with mobility, safety, or increasing support needs.
You are welcome to participate, ask questions, or simply listen.
What to Expect
Each monthly gathering includes:
A knowledgeable local presenter
Practical caregiving strategies
Time for questions
Local resources and service information
Connection with other caregivers
The goal is not to give caregivers more work. It is to help make the next step feel clearer and more manageable.
A Two-Minute Caregiver Action
Write down one question that has been weighing on you.
It might be:
How do I know when we need more help?
What services are available locally?
How can I make personal care less upsetting?
How can I prepare for changing mobility needs?
Bring that question to the next Caregiver Collective gathering.
